How to Select a Digital Photo Frame

How to Select a Digital Photo Frame
By Victor Thomas

A Digital Photo Frame has become an essential component that helps beef up the aesthetic value of your home. A Digital Photo Frame should be capable of playing MP3 files, displaying JPEGs, and even few video formats. Some high-end jobs also interpret DivX file formats. Inbuilt speakers enable you play music while witnessing a slide show of your pictures. Often there is a calendar feature integrated with an alarm function.

If you have planned to use it as an alarm clock, ensure the inbuilt speakers are sufficiently loud.

More importantly, check the clarity of sound produced and the type of formats that the player can read. This is especially vital for viewing videos that are captured with the help of your camera. Either ensure the frame reads those formats or you can have a converter handy. Options like TV-out and earphones will allow you look at normal videos too in private.

There are a few Digital Photo Frames that do not come with a remote control. This is quite problematic as there is a necessity to manually make some adjustments for moving the images or media files. Therefore ensure a remote is incorporated with your frame so that you can adjust any feature from a distance at ease on your Digital Photo Frames.

You will also need to ensure that the frame comes with an adjustable rear stand so you that you can manipulate the height to make up for either the light striking the screen at an odd angle or to view the onscreen content at a much more convenient angle.

These tips will help you choose the kind of Digital Photo Frame you are searching for. Adhere to your budget though and do not be concerned about the styling. There is a plethora of Digital Photo Frames to choose from that are available in the market. The features are quite akin but it is the build quality and the adjustments in those features that add a bit of difference to the price.

Gifts for Dad - Pandigital 7"

Gifts for Dad
By A. Covington

Whether the dad in your life is a rough and tumble kind of guy or prefers Armani suits to t-shirts and jeans, there's a gift out there that will show him how much you appreciate all that he does for you. Whether he'd rather spend the afternoon improving his handicap or playing video games, there's something in this Holiday gift guide for your dad, husband or significant other. We're skipping some of the more obvious big-ticket items like TVs and grills. Instead we're giving you some fresh and creative ideas. And if that special guy isn't a dad, he'll love these items too!

Corporate Dad

He's Polished with a capital P. Down to his shiny Italian leather shoes, the guy in your life wouldn't be seen without a crisp buttondown and a pair of pressed dress pants. Or, maybe he needs a little nudge in the right direction. Either way, he'll appreciate the luxury and quality of these snazzy duds.

The Classic White Shirt

Nothing looks more elegant that a crisp herringbone white buttondown with French cuffs like one from Forzieri.

Ties (guys like them, really!)

Ties get a bad rap as the stand-by gift for men but if your guy works in an office, he wears ties! And any savvy businessman knows that all components of his work ensemble send a message. A luxury silk tie is the only way to go. Trust us, he will love it (and wear it).

The timeless watch

Corporate Dad is a busy guy, so he needs a classy watch to keep him on time. Go for something original that will bring a smile to his face every time he checks the time. The Philip Stein Teslar watch with a black Ostrich strap is elegant and modern at the same time.

Cuff links

The well-heeled dad needs a set of sharp cuff links to hold those French cuffs together. Try Tahitian Pearl Cufflinks (that's right, guys can wear pearls too) from PurePearls.

Watch & Cufflink organizer

Okay, so corporate dad is a high-roller kind of guy but he may need a little help keeping all those pieces organized (watch, cuff links, etc.), so give him a watch & cuff link box-just be sure not to call it a jewelry box, he might get a little touchy.

Luxury Briefcase

To complete Corporate Dad's look he needs a briefcase-but not just any briefcase. While he may not admit it, you'll recognize the twinkle in his eye when he opened a package and smells the smooth calf skin leather of his new luxury briefcase, like the one from Pierre Cardin.

On the go Dad

On the go Dad is always going somewhere, so give him the gift of stylish (and comfortable) travel with these ideas.

Travel bags

If your dad or significant other is always on the go, he doesn't need a gigantic suitcase but he also doesn't want to wind up with wrinkled suits. A fold-up garment bag from Glaser Designs is the perfect solution to short trips.

And no businessman will travel anywhere without his laptop in tow. A designer laptop bag protects Dad's laptop and data in style.

Travel Neckpillow

Traveling can take a toll on the neck and shoulders. Dad will appreciate this simple, yet invaluable, travel neckpillow from Magellans.

Audiobooks

Whether the dad in your life flies a lot or drives cross-country, he'll love this collection of heart-warming stories about fatherhood. The NPR Driveway Moments for Dads is a collection of humorous and touching stories from the National Public Radio archives that capture the essence of fatherhood. They're so good, he may never even leave the driveway!

Enthusiast Dad

Season tickets

Whatever your dad's favorite sporting event-or maybe it's the opera!-season's tickets is the gift that keeps on giving.

Golf clubs

Seasoned golfer or novice, all golfers know The Big Bertha. Get him what he's always wanted but never bought for himself. He's a good dad, he deserves it!

Connoisseur Dad

Wine cork set

Take the headache out of opening wine with a gourmet wine cork set. You can find them virtually anywhere, including Bed, Bath & Beyond, Cost Plus World Market, liquor stores, department stores and online.

Wine Accessories

Stumped for a gift idea? Give Dad a gift basket filled with wine accessories like wine stoppers, wine totes, wine labels and a wine journal. For a truly one-of-a-kind gift, there's the Wine Enhancer, which uses a special technology to make wine smoother and brighter, and improve the drinkability of young wines.

Gourmet Coffee

Lots of guys gotta have their morning cup of Joe. Go beyond the Folgers or Starbucks and get him gourmet coffee beyond his wildest dreams. Coined as the "most expensive coffee in the world" at $288.00, Arabica Kopi Luwak ground coffee is one of the most sought after by coffee connoisseurs globally. This rare coffee is harvested and roasted in the Indonesian Archipelago. Extremely limited, only 700 pounds are produced annually.

Tea maker

Okay, so tea is not usually the first gift idea to come to mind for a lot of dads, but hear me out. The hassle of tea balls and infusers is too much for many guys. Adagio has a solution: the triniTEA, an electric tea maker that simplifies preparation of loose tea. This all-in-one device prepares tea with a flip of a switch. A warming plate beneath the carafe keeps tea hot so it may be enjoyed for hours. They also stock fragrant loose teas and gourmet teabags.

Smoking Jacket (aka Robe)

Give Dad a luxury robe to wear while he sips his favorite beverage, like the Brioni cashmere herringbone robe. Looking for one less expensive? Try a silk robe from Dillards. And what's a robe without slippers?

Gear Daddy

Wireless Weather Forecaster

Dads dislike getting caught in unforeseen weather like the rest of us. They also like to know when the weather is going to be nice so they can fit in a round of golf. Get him the wireless weather station from Brookstone to keep Dad up to date with real-time reports received via radio signals from AccuWeather. No wiring, computer, or TV required!

Portable entertainment

The Sony Play Station Portable (PSP ) is the ultimate portable entertainment device. For tech loving Dad's the PSP can be customized to any personality. The PSP is the perfect mobile entertainment device for gaming, listening to MP3s, watching movies and sporting events, checking RSS feeds, surfing the Net and much more. A recent partnership with T-mobile enables PSP users to take advantage of six months free WiFi at any T-Mobile hotspot found in airports and Starbuck's coffee locations.

Gifts all dads will love

Personalized gifts

Dads love to show off their family, so why not give him something to remind him of what a great family he has with a personalized gift? These days you can get almost anything personalized, from mouse pads to pens and notepads to picture frames and mugs. Vista Print has everything you need for the perfect Holiday gift.

Dad's Own Cookbook

In addition to divorced fathers, there are 15 million dads in families where both parents work and Dad is expected to take his turn making dinner. Never has there been a time when kitchen skills have been so desirable but also so necessary for fathers. So what's a culinary-challenged Dad to do?

It is for every single dad facing new responsibilities in the kitchen, or married dad who has to step up to the plate…and serve it. ManGroomer

Giving this gift may be a delicate matter but believe us when we say Dad will thank you (even if it's silent). The grooming of back hair is not only sensitive for men, it's also hard to do! The MANGROOMER is the essential do-it-yourself electric back hair shaver for men. The unique design enables a man to remove unwanted back hair by himself in the privacy of his own home or while traveling. It's quick, easy and painless.

Shave kit

Every man needs a shave kit. Do it up in style with a calfskin shave kit from Cole Haan. If Dad is a friend of the environment, he'll like this Shaving Soap Gift Set from the Napa Soap Company. The long-lasting shaving soap is packed with French clay, aloe vera and soothing oils for a smooth shave. Comes in a reusable, environmentally-friendly antiqued mug with a badger bristle brush. Available in three fresh blends: Lavender Cedar, Cool Mint Rosemary, or Ocean.

What is your perfect Holiday gift for Dad?

Photography 101 - How to Understand Camera Aperture and Shutter Speed

If you want to just point and shoot, then using pre-set modes (like "sports" or "macro" on your camera make it easy to get a perfect shot. If you're new to photography, two of the most important things to learn are aperture and shutter speed settings as these will give you a lot of creative control. If you're wondering which cameras have these settings, some digital compacts have them while most of the bridge (prosumer) cameras do and all SLRs have them.

At first it seems a little daunting to start using manual camera settings, but the vast improvement in your pictures will be worth the effort. And with all of your great new images, you'll have lots of fun selecting different styles of wood photo frames and metal picture frames that make each picture stand out.

Photography 101 – Introducing Aperture

The aperture of a camera works a lot like how the iris of a person's eye works. Just like your irises widen or narrow to let in more or less light through the pupils, the camera's lens diaphragm widens or narrows to let in more or less light through the lens. The aperture is the size of this lens opening.

Aperture allows you to increase or decrease the amount of light that reaches the sensor and therefore helps determine how dark or light the picture will be.

The aperture also controls the depth of field of the image.

To get a good idea of what this means, make a fist, holding it in front of your eye. Then slowly open your fist. Notice when the opening in your hand is small everything you see is in focus? But when it's open wide the object closest to you is sharper than the background?

A small aperture is great for taking pictures like landscapes where you want everything in focus.

When you use your camera's Aperture Priority setting you can set the aperture to whatever f-stop number you want. These numbers represent ratios, and the larger the f-stop number, the narrower the aperture. So the larger the f-stop number on your camera, the larger the depth of field.

The reason for the "Priority" in the setting's name is that when you set the aperture, the camera does its best to set the shutter speed so that the exposure is right (not too dark or too bright). In other words, in the wider scheme of exposure, the aperture setting will have priority, while shutter speed plays a supporting role.

Photography 101 – Introducing Shutter Speed

While the aperture controls how much light at one time falls on the image sensor, the shutter speed controls the length of time the camera allows in the light.

If you've ever seen really old pictures, you'll notice that they are rarely smiling. Shutter speeds were so slow back then that people had to hold perfectly still for several minutes – not to mention in all those stiff clothes they wore for picture day. No wonder they  looked so stern!

The most common shutter speeds today are 1/500th of a second to 1/60th of a second. By using Shutter Priority, you can then choose the shutter speed (within your camera's range) for the exact effect you want.

If you use a shutter speed slower than 1/60, you should use a tripod or some type of camera stabilizer because when the shutter is open that long, even the slightest jiggle can create fuzzy pictures.

If you want to freeze action (like what Sports mode does), set the camera's Shutter Priority to a fast speed. You can be a lot more selective with this manual type of setting. For example, a dog sitting quietly will require a shutter speed of around 1/125 in order to freeze the small twitch in the dog's tail. On the flip side, taking pictures at a soccer game may require up to 1/500 to freeze fast moving actions.

When using settings like Shutter Priority and Aperture Priority you get more creative control which often means you can end up with much better pictures to frame in picture frames.

A Comparison Between Digital and Chemical Photography

Photography is one of the new media forms that revolutionizes awareness and modifies the structure of our society. It is the art of obtaining accurate images of certain objects by undergoing chemical processes. In simple terms, it is an art of creating reality. Photography is all about truth says Jean Luc Godard. To do this, one has to have a camera which is a tool to make or capture the chosen image. The creation made by photography is called negative or photograph. A few years ago, photography was in black and white format. This classic look has dominated for several decades due to its reasonable cost. Some photographers still use the 'classic look' that even with the advent of digital imaging, photos are sometimes processed using a variety of techniques just to generate a black and white effect. The birth of radical artistic visions because of technological advancements have given rise to digital photography. Full spectrum photography is used in digital cameras. Photojournalism and professional photography were the first to enjoy the modern accents of digital photography. Transmitting images back to the head office only requires a small amount of time. The difference of digital to chemical photography is that in digital photography, film and photographic papers are not needed unlike chemical photography. Digital photography only needs a controlling medium. Traditional photography held back photographers assigned in remote areas because of the difficulty in obtaining access to processing facilities. The first company that first eliminated the requirement of films and photographic paper by saving the images to disks was Sony. This has revolutionized digital camera and it has turned into a major consumer product in the industry. Photographers from Portland, Florida and those from the east and west of the US have benefited from this innovation. But it has been reported by a major camera brand that conducted a survey 3 years ago that a large portion of professional photographers prefer chemical photography because they consider it to be of superior quality than any other forms. Color photography started during the 17th century but it was only until 1907 that a successful color processing facility was made. Instant color film was established by 1963 which led to the introduction of photo printing equipment. These days, digital photography is highly considered to be a great innovation but being skilled in traditional techniques is still a great learning experience for majority of professional photographers. Portland photography studios are some of the north's best, with package options of either chemical or digital processing. Whether it's a wedding photography in Portland or any type of event photography you're looking for, the choices are many in Oregon's most populous city.

Photo Scanning Service - When Do You Need The Help?

Issues with photos fading started with photograpy itself.  Concerns date back at least as far as the Photographic Society of London's "Fading Committee" of 1855.

But the photos we are all most concerned about aren't quite that old! They date from 1936, with the introduction of Kodachrome film for 35mm slides, to about 1990, and it's these photos that are particularly in danger.

Varying forms of a chromogenic process was used to print these photos. That simply means that the surface on which the print is made does not already contain the dyes necessary to make the colors required. So that, the process relied on checmical reactions to develop the dyes while the processing was happening. And it is the combination of dyes — typically, cyan (blue), magenta (red), and yellow — that creates the final colors we see in a color photo.

Fading is reality:

The sad truth is that these dyes (created by those chemical reactions) are not durable. As a matter of fact, they began to shift as soon as the photo was developed! And light hitting a photo — nearly any kind of visible light — simply accelerates this process. Now you know why film packages have disclaimers on them telling you that the colors may fade.

Typically, there are two effects:

  1. a loss of detail in general, particularly in the highlights.
  2. color shifts. The photo will change to appear to have a slightly green-like look. This is due to the magenta dye changing first, it is much more sensitive than the others.

Over the last 50 years, there have been many different chromogenic approaches to making prints. As the work of image permanence pioneer Henry Wilhelm has shown, these approaches do vary widely in terms of potential image permanence. Unfortunately, the most popular of these — for example, Ektacolor-processed prints from the 1960's and 1970's — have tended to have significant fading problems when exposed to light.

If your photos are already faded:

Prior to the availability of a photo scanning service and digital photography software, if your photos were faded you were largely out of luck. That's not true any more!

Once an image is scanned it can be digitally manipulated to reduce that faded look. However, if your photos are severely faded, it can be challenging to bring them back to life — so it's definitely in your interest to hurry.

These are some other issues that have to be confronted when reviewing photos;

Color shift:

…fading that happens while stored. All photos, negative strips and slides degrade even without light. There are ways to slow the process.

Scratches:

…the invisible enemy. All of these forms of photograhic imagery are easily scratched and very susceptible to abrasion. There are things you can do to avoid them.

Disasters at home:

…why your photos aren't that safe at home. Aside from the obvious deterioration that we have already discussed, there are "home-bound" disasters that can, and do happen. Sometimes the disaster is called “pets” or “kids”, these (and others) are nonetheless a genuine threat. But our research shows that some kinds of disasters are lot more likely than others.

Wanna Do it yourself?

Some things to consider…If you want to scan and repair your own photos, you're a brave person, since it's not easy and a really big commitment.  However, we do have some advice for those hardy souls.

3 Electronic Digital Camera Accessories Each And Every Photographer Requirements

3 Electronic Digital camera Accessories Each and every Photographer Requirements

Original article by Canon PowerShot S90 Review

There's a misnomer that electronic photography is its own type of photography, really untrue. The digital part of photography is just the method of recording so what applies to photography applies to digital too. So let's acquire a appear in the 3 add-ons I consider that every photographer requires.

These are not listed in any certain order and I don't think in any purchase of importance either despite the fact that when you were to push me for an response I'd location a tripod as my amount a single accessory. It will also depend on what sort of photography you happen to be pursuing as to which one particular is going to be quantity one for you. They're, nevertheless, components that I would list as necessary to a photographer's gear bag.

1. A tripod

In case you do not already have a tripod then get your self one. Purchase the most expensive just one you are able to afford. A excellent solid tripod is necessary for the kit of the photographer. There are many occasions when light conditions are not fine and the additional stability helps you create crisp, sharp images. Just a small camera shake will cause blurring to some degree inside the final photo. A tripod is specially helpful when shooting close-ups of flowers and small creatures and assists you to possess comprehensive handle of your images.

2. Remote shutter release

This really is coupled with the tripod and is crucial when avoiding digital camera shake. Even when your camera is mounted on the tripod, the simplest action like pushing the shutter button can nevertheless bring about digital camera shake and prevent you from taking the sharpest pictures. It functions quite merely possibly connected by a cable towards the digital camera or employing an infrared connection to activate the shutter.

three. A great circular polarising filter

A polarising filter cuts down glare and reflections off shiny surfaces. Individuals of you that have actually owned or used a pair of polaroid sunglasses will know the impact that it has on shiny and reflective surfaces. This includes foliage too. When applying polaroid sunglasses although searching at water you are capable to see below the surface if the h2o is clear. The sky becomes bluer as well as the green vegetation greener. If you happen to be landscape photographer you will truly gain from a polariser. I look at this vital. Just one tip although is that you should generally use just one which has the equivalent or greater top quality of the lens. There's no point in placing poor glass in front of very good glass.

Keep in mind that these are my three top choices of components in no unique order. You need to select which ones will serve your specific needs the greatest. I use all 3 equally but possibly if my photography transformed slightly I would create an additional 1 or two to my checklist. Content shooting. For more wonderful details and resources on Canon PowerShot SX210IS and Canon Rebel XS visit our site these days.

Canon Powershot SD980 – Good Point And Shoot Camera

Canon’s first foray into touch screen territory comes in the form of the PowerShot SD980 IS. It falls into line style-wise with the current generation of Digital ELPH cameras and it won’t look out of place sitting side-by-side with your iPod and your touch screen smartphone – it’s curvy, boldly colored, and is relatively slim for a camera housing a 5x optical zoom lens.

Like the Panasonic Lumix FX580, the Canon Powershot SD980 IS keeps all of the physical buttons and offers the touch screen as a kind of supplement in terms of camera operation. The result is more of a hybrid than a total touch screen makeover. There are three major areas where the touch screen will come into play: image review, touch-selected auto focus lock, and shooting mode selection.

It’s a new interface for the PowerShot lineup, but there are plenty of familiar features here as well. The DIGIC 4 processor, optical image stabilizer, and 12.1 megapixel 1/2.3 inch CCD are carried over from previous Digital ELPHs. Slow, steady enhancements to an existing, capable platform have been the trend for Canon in recent years. Does the SD980 follow the trend, or is it just another very pretty interface?

The Canon Powershot SD980 features a 5x optical zoom, starting at an equivalent 24mm for a nice wide angle and extending to 120mm. It’s quite a fast lens, with a maximum aperture of f/2.8 at wide angle. Maximum aperture at telephoto is f/5.9. Zoom operation is a little bit noisy, which is perhaps one of the reasons why optical zoom isn’t available in video recording mode.

Barrel distortion cropped up more often than pin cushioning. The vertical lines of the window in the wide angle image below bow outward slightly. In the telephoto picture, there’s not as much evidence of distortion.

The get-up-and-go PowerShot SD980 takes some very nice images right out of the box. Colors are bright, in the traditional vein of Canon’s consumer digitals, and reasonably saturated. The neutral setting, one of the options available under the “My Colors” submenu, will bring saturation down a notch. Adjustments can also be made to color, saturation, and sharpness and saved as a custom setting under the “my colors” submenu.

It should also be noted that though the SD980 boasts 16:9 wide-aspect image capture, you won’t be able to utilize it at the camera’s highest resolution. The wide images are roughly 9 megapixels.

Our studio images show noise beginning to appear starting at ISO 100, though it’s very faint in the cropped image. ISO 400 displays more distortion, though the thumbnail image still looks fairly good.

What the PowerShot SD980 IS does best is show off. Flipping through images with a swipe of the LCD or a flick of the wrist is sure to please a small crowd of friends and family. However, no camera is going to inspire any real “wow” factor if the images don’t look as good as the interface. The SD980 delivers dependable image quality whether or not you choose to utilize the touch screen.

The PowerShot SD980 won’t compete with Canon’s more advanced compacts, but it’s as good a performer as the popular SD1200. It hits a sweet spot between chic design and reliable performance. In the expanding world of touch screen cameras, the SD980 is as good as any we’ve seen thus far. It doesn’t offer the level of control that Panasonic’s Lumix FX580 does, but manual control is probably not what you’re after if you’re shopping for a touch LCD. If it’s reliable image quality with limited user input that you want, then the PowerShot SD980 is a good option.

It will even be more worth it if your photo canvas print can serve as a reminder of the beautiful memories attached to creating that piece of art. Once you have already created that canvas art, you can just follow several tips that can help you in preserving it as long as you can.

The first issue you have to deal with photo canvas print is that the colors have a big chance of fading over the years. The one thing that you have to keep in mind is that keeping them out from direct sunlight will do the colors some good. Alternatively, look for a more appropriate place for your canvas where it gets sufficient lighting so that other people can enjoy it, but not too much that the colors can get damaged in the long run.

Another aspect that you need to take into consideration to be able to preserve the canvas really well is the material that composes it. You have to know the material of the cloth attached to the wooden frame. Having said this, you also need to know that both wood and fabric react really fast to heat and moisture. Because of this, you have to avoid placing them in areas that are neither too hot nor too cold. For instance, places near ovens, fireplace, bathroom and balconies are not the best locations for your canvases because they can either supply too much sunlight or moisture to your works of art. In a nutshell, the exact location where you place them is really critical because it will not only determine the amount of people who can see it, but it will also determine how long you will be able to keep it displayed in your home.

If on the other hand, you need keep separate all the canvases you have got because you are redecorating the interiors of your family home, you also need to implement the same rules for the storage area where you will for the short term keep them. The space should not be too hot or too cold, and it should be spacious enough to let a photo canvas print rest comfortably.

When you feel the need to clean all the canvases that you have at home, the best method is still to go about it in a traditional way - this means that you will only clean all the canvases in your home using your feather duster. This is a really effective because it allows you to completely eradicate all the acquired dust in your paintings without damaging their overall appearance and texture. On the other hand, you may also just frame your paintings with glass to make sure that it will be maintained excellently and protected from dusts and other external elements.

These are just some of the most basic methods by which you can really protect your photo canvas prints that you have at home.

Why Pictures Paint A Thousand Words

You may have heard about a Chinese proverb that says "a picture is worth a thousand words". However, this idea was not widely accepted until the 1920s when businessmen tried using pictures or images in their ads. They use this to market their products and services and because it was effective, it has been used since then. Many people don't enjoy reading tons of sentences from newspapers that's why putting catchy pictures in it will surely catch their attention. A picture not only tells a story but it can also be compared to doing a good deed which could be interpreted in many ways.

When you take pictures, what you are expectations from it? Or why do you want your picture taken? We take pictures of things that we think are beautiful or things that could depict raw and strong emotions. We like to capture these things in still photography because we like preserving these precious moments. Every time there's a celebration, we like to have a remembrance of that special occasion and we achieve this through pictures.

It is a fact that the only thing constant in this world is change and we grow old each day. Because of this, we need to have something that can remind us of the special experiences or special moments that we have had. Through photographs, we can relive those special memories. These pictures will last a lifetime that's why we love to have our pictures taken. In essence, photography is a form of art. Thus, proper lighting is essential to achieve a good picture. You may have noticed in photography studio that they have different lights pointed to a subject. This is the reason why the pictures they take are better than pictures that we take ourselves. It's all about proper lighting.

During studio photographs, for instance, no matter how ordinary a subject looks, the photograph will still likely come out looking good. Studio photographers have the skills and the equipment needed to create that effect through editing and a few twitches here and there. Therefore, if you have your picture taken by an expert photographer, you will surely have a picture like that of a magazine. We want to save on cost that's why we would rather take our own photos. Of course, you can save on cost however, you will regret it so much if the photo came out bad. So why not have it taken by a photographer or have it taken in a photo studio so that you wont' have any regrets in the future.

While reading the article, he might be thinking that you could be hiding some trick up your sleeve. But that is if he decides to read it at all.

However, not just any image will do the job. The picture also has to be relevant just like in the example above. If you just add any picture that you got from the Internet, it might not have the same effect. In fact, it could have an opposite effect depending on the image you use. Quality is also a very important consideration. Your potential client will not forget the low-class photograph you presented to them.
