Once you have proper photography lighting, it is important for the camera that you are using to be able to read shade.Your focal point in the center of the frame can point to the shady area and not the bright area behind a more darkly lit subject. If you choose not too, your subject may appear as a silhouette.It's possible to soften and lesson as well, any shadows that were caused by your source of light with this practice.
