Deleting Photos From Your Electronic Devices

Deleting photos from your electronic devices does not have to be a complicated process. This guide can help you delete them step by step and help you understand how it's done see you can do it on your own later.

For photos that are on your computer, you will need to figure out where the photos are. Most often they will be in a folder called "my documents". This is easily found by clicking on start menu, going to documents and finally to my documents. Once you have my documents open, the photos you want to be removed should be available for you to select.

From there you will select the photo that you wish to delete, click on it once and then right click and select delete. While this sounds complicated, a few practice clicks will give you practice to be able to do this like a pro. Although it won't remove every trace of the photo, so don't rely on this technique if you never want anyone to see that picture again.

To remove these permanently from your computer exit out of this screen, and right click on your trash can on the desktop and hit empty recycle bin. This method also works for deleting the photos that you receive from e-mails and on USB memory sticks. That said, this technique still allows photos to be recovered by anyone with a simple piece of software, so it's worth investing in a program that will totally and permanently erase them.

To remove photos from your camera, you can review them through the menu and decide to delete them from the device at that time. Most cameras will require you to confirm that you want to leave them, but once it is done they will be removed from the memory. You can also attach the camera to your computer and remove them with the steps outlined above.

Deleting photos can help to save room on your hard drive and is a simple process. In just a few clicks of your mouse you can remove these quickly. Deleting them from your camera's memory card is important to make sure that your photos aren't used unscrupulously by others.
