There’s always a clever mind behind every classic design. And the MINOX story must always be told with reference to the name, Walter Zapp. The legendary designer who wrote photographic history with his revolutionary invention of the first Ur-MINOX in 1938. The ingenious idea was to be seen in its dimensions. A camera smaller than a cigar and weighing less than a cigarette lighter. And featuring a brilliant lens. This was a stroke of lasting genius – as the MINOX ECX and the MINOX CLX Special Edition still proof of that today. And of course, it was no surprise to see these miniature cameras with the 8 x 11 mm film format go on to become world famous as spy cameras.  Now they have created the Minox DSC Digital Spy Camera.

DSC is the name of the new mini MINOX model: Minox Digital Spy Cam. This fantastic masterpiece in minimalist design and photo technology packs remarkable features into dimensions of just 86 x 29 x 20 mm. With a resolution of five million pixels it can compete with the traditional digital cameras with ease. The bright viewfinder allows spontaneous, fast shots, even in critical light conditions. In twilight the integrated flash switches on automatically. In total these features make the new DSC a very sound optical notebook.

The system has an additional external flash that can be connected to the side of the spy camera. And to provide the user with the accustomed convenience of a display for viewing film and image results the flash has an integrated 1.5 inch TFT LCD screen. The image data can be saved on micro SD memory cards of up to 16 GB, in addition to its own internal memory.
